Who is Jesus?

“…Thou Shalt Call His Name JESUS…”Matthew 1:21

Of all the billions of people who have lived from the time of Creation to our present day, there is one person who stands out, unique above all of the rest. His name is Jesus. To fully explain Him is impossible. To ignore Him would be disastrous. To reject Him would be fatal.

In Matthew 27:22, Pilate posed the question, “What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ?” This is the most important question that an individual will ever answer in their lifetime.

What You Do With Jesus Matters

We Need to Understand the Truth About the Savior

The eternal purpose of Christ was and is to seek and to save that which is lost.

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

2 Peter 3:9  - The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

We Need to Understand the Truth About the Sinner

The truth is that we have ALL broken the law of God, and the Bible teaches us that sin separates us from God.
Isaiah 53:6 - All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
Isaiah 59:1-2 Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear: (2) But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

How to Become a Christian

1. Admit your need. (I am a sinner)

2. Be willing to turn from your sins. (Repent)

3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the Cross and rose from the grave. (Accepting God's sacrifice for your sins)

4. Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. (Personally receive Him and acknowledge Him as your Lord and Savior)
