Good morning, my name is Matthew Busche. I'm reaching out as the local organizer for a cycling event called Belgian Waffle Ride. The event is an all-road (paved and gravel) event starting/finishing at WAG Valley Farms (formerly REEB Ranch), scheduled for October 4th, 2025. Our course descends Cabin Creek Rd and your church is ideally situation for an aid station. We'd ask for nothing other than the use of your parking lot and/or the green space immediately adjacent Cabin Creek Rd. We would place some portable toilets on Friday, then we'd set up early Saturday morning from the back of a small/medium size UHaul truck. The aid station would close mid afternoon, and we could ask that the toilets be picked up that afternoon to avoid them being there on Sunday. Feel free to connect with me via email or phone (414-736-5985). We greatly appreciate you consideration.

My name is Stephen Dinkins and I work with the International Mission Board (imb) in East Africa, representing Southern Baptist Churches and pursuing the Missionary Task. My wife, Sarah, and I were sent out from First Baptist Church in Sumter, SC in 2013 with our 4 children. We have our oldest two children at North Greenville University and our youngest two (ages 10 & 12) live with us in Nairobi, Kenya.

Thanks to the generous giving of Southern Baptists, the Lord has allowed my family to see churches planted and lives changed with the gospel. Nairobi has been home for over 8 years as we have been working amongst Muslim peoples. While the fruit has been slow, our Heavenly Father’s kingdom is growing, and Jesus is being exalted by people from many tongues, tribes, and nations!

We feel honored to have been sent out from Southern Baptist churches through the imb (along with approximately 3,700 other missionaries). Thank you for the part that MVBC plays in the work of the IMB among the nations.

I would love to connect with you to hear how God is working in your life and the life of your church. I would also love to celebrate with you the exciting things that God is doing as SB churches and the IMB partner together to make His name great! We know, feel, and see the result of the many prayers that SB churches lift on our behalf. We want to also pray for you and your church, and the kingdom work it is doing. How can we pray specifically for MVBC? I’d be grateful to hear from someone with the church, you can send me an email at sdinkins@imb.org. We are excited to connect and look forward to hearing from you.

Straining forward to what lies ahead,
